Recruitment Information

As a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, you will experience the joys of having a constant support system, sisters who genuinely care about your successes and who are there to listen when you have a bad day, and ultimately, will be some of your best friends for the rest of you life. Our open motto, Seek the Noblest, is just a small testament to our values.

 
The Sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha value:
Loyalty: Not only to yourself and your morals but also to the chapter's values. We like to wear our "invisible crowns"-- holding our values near and dear to our heart.

Commitment: Being a part of a sorority isn't just about wearing letters. It's about a commitment to our philanthropy (breast cancer education and awareness), to fostering yourself as an individual, learning how to be a leader, and a common goal of leaving the chapter better than when you joined.
 
Involvement: Our sisters are heavily involved in all facets of the Susquehanna community. If you're looking to become more involved, ZTA is a great way to connect you to different organizations on campus. Some of these activities include: National Panhellenic Council Executive board, Student Government Association Executive board and class representatives, Dance Corps, Welcome Week Planning Committee, Orientation Team, literary magazines, University Chorale, Women's Swim team, Women's Golf Team, and much more.
 
Academics: University policy states that women who are interested in joining a sorority must have a minimum GPA of a 2.5 to participate in recruitment events. Ultimately, we like women who value their education. After all, that is what your tuition is going towards. ZTAs also hold membership in several honor societies on campus: Order of Omega, Omicron Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Beta Gamma Sigma, and many more.
 
Individuality: Just like how sizes of clothing vary by brand, no one girl is made the same. This is why the Zeta Tau Alpha laughs at the definition of a "sorority girl". We come from a variety of backgrounds and our interests range from a love of animals, dancing, video games, movies, knitting, painting, writing poetry, and much more.
